Scientists discover an unexpected natural hangover cure

It’s one of the worst feelings out there.  That aching head, that stomach that is doing flip flops.  Those sweats.

Nope, not the flu. I’m talking about that dreaded HANGOVER.

But fear no more, science may have found the cure!!!

A recent study conducted by an Australian scientific research group found that Asian pear juice significantly reduced hangover symptoms.

In tests, the fruit dulled or eradicated those morning after headaches, as well as reduced symptoms such as memory loss, nausea and sensitivity to light.

So what makes the Asian pear so special??? Scientists believe the pear contains unique enzymes necessary for speeding up alcohol metabolism and inhibiting alcohol absorption.

But don’t think you can have it AFTER the fact (if you can STOMACH it, that is). It has be consumed BEFORE a night out.

The participants for the study drank just under a cup of the pear juice but scientists believe eating the pears whole could have similar effects.

So head out to the grocery store before your weekend.

And, of course, PLEASE DRINK RESPONSIBLY.
