SWEET VIDEO: Marine’s 4-Year-Old Son Gets Overwhelmed During His Stepmom’s Vows
US Marine Corps Sergeant Joshua Newville and Senior Airman Emily Leehan tied the knot during a moving ceremony in Ripley, New York and Joshua’s four-year-old son Gage cried throughout an entire speech Emily had written for him!
Emily’s vows to Gage:
“I want you to be safe, and to try your hardest and to be a good person. Don’t cry. I know that you and I will butt heads, but I hope with all my heart that as you become a growing man you will understand my methods and realize I have only done what is best for you and that I love you. The last thing that I hope you learn is that you are a very special boy. You are so extremely smart, handsome and kind to others. You have helped shape me into the woman that I am today, and I may not have given you the gift of life, but life surely gave me the gift of you.”
His dad also held him and said “buddy, it’s okay”.
This heartwarming viral video shows the moment that a Marine’s 4-year-old son burst into tears and hugged his new stepmother Saturday during a wedding tribute to the boy. What a sweet family!
