WATCH: Louisiana teacher arrested after questioning superintendent’s pay raise at school board meeting

A video has gone viral of a teacher at a school board meeting in Louisiana getting arrested for asking questions.  She wanted to know why the superintendent was getting a raise but the teachers and employees weren’t.

She wasn’t supposed to ask any questions because it was during the “public comment section” so the board president warned her . . . but she kept asking, so he ruled her out of order.

A city marshal came over and asked her to leave the room, but she wouldn’t, so he escorted her into the hallway and put her in CUFFS.  She was arrested for resisting an officer, but the school system isn’t pressing charges.

*By the way, he superintendent’s  salary increased from $110,190 to $140,188.  Hmmmm… an almost $30,000 raise and nothing for the teachers?  What are THEY getting paid again?  I wonder why they’re upset with your shenanigans.

UPDATE:  No charges were filed against the teacher, but we expect a LAWSUIT might be in the future!
