Jurassic World Has Now Made More Money Than The Avengers

“Jurassic World” passed “The Avengers” this week to become the third highest-grossing movie of all time.  It’s racked up more than $1.5 billion at the box office, and hasn’t even come out in Japan yet.

It would need to make more than a half-billion dollars more to pass “Titanic” for second place, and “Avatar” is still well out of reach at number one.  Here are the ten highest-grossing movies of all time . . .

  1. “Avatar”, $2.8 billion worldwide.

 

  1. “Titanic”, $2.2 billion.

 

  1. “Jurassic World”, $1.52 billion.

 

  1. “The Avengers”, $1.519 billion.

 

  1. “Furious 7”, $1.5 billion.
