If you ask Ryan Reynolds how he feels about his role as the Green Lantern in the 2011 movie of the same name, he would tell you that – despite it being panned by critis and flopping at the box office – he wouldn’t change a thing.

In the October issue of GQ magazine, Reynolds (who apparently never read the script when he auditioned) says he doesn’t have any regrets.

“If I had to do it all again, I’d do the exact same thing,” the actor said. “I mean, I don’t give a rusty f***, because — I know that this is gonna sound like some sort of guy who’s spent a little bit of time in a monastery or something, but it all led to here.”

The 38 year old says that donning that green suit was “an opportunity of a lifetime.”

In the magazine, Reynolds also talked about having to cut ties with a friend after it was found that they were shopping pictures of his 9 month old daughter around to sources.

It was someone that Reynolds had known for 25 years.

“It was like a death. It was like one of those devastating things to find out.”
