Netflix Is Reviving “Gilmore Girls”
America endured “Gilmore Girls” through 153 episodes, seven seasons, two networks, and Stephen Harper’s first year run at Prime Minister . . . but apparently, that wasn’t enough.
Netflix is reviving the show for a limited time. There will be four 90-minute episodes, which are being described as “mini-movies.” The original creator and executive producer are back onboard, and negotiations with the cast have started.
No one is locked in yet . . . but Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Kelly Bishop, and Scott Patterson are all expected back. However, Melissa McCarthy is NOT. This plan allows the creator to wrap up the show like she wanted to . . . since she left before the final season in a contract dispute.
DUDES. I can't confirm this. But I also can't deny this… https://t.co/KO8gA7j6Us
