This movie did so terribly that Universal is pulling it from theaters after 2 weeks
‘Steve Jobs’ has been dropped from more than 2,000 theaters after poor Box-Office performance. But at least it didn’t get pulled entirely.
‘Jem And The Holograms’ has been yanked after 2 disastrous weeks in theatres. It’ the very definition of a flop.
Although it has been an incredible year for Universal. It’s responsible for three of the top five earners in the country: “Jurassic World,” “Furious 7,” and “Minions.” But no one is bulletproof in Hollywood.
Just how bad did JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS perform? Universal pulled in from theaters after 2 weeks ($2.1M)–unheard of for a wide release.
