A concert that means a lot to us is coming to WINDSOR, ONTARIO!  Simple Plan’s World Tour with a “Sneak Peek” at a charity concert in honour of the late Richard Costley-White, owner of Blackburn Radio Inc. #SPMix967

The event will serve as a benefit concert in support of local charity, Transition to Betterness. In addition, it’s a chance for fans of the multi-platinum selling Canadian band to see them before they kick off their World Tour on February 24th and takes place just 2 days before the release of their new album ‘Taking One For The Team’.

Blackburn Radio Inc. President, Ron Dann, views the concert as a way of combining Costley-White’s love of music and philanthropic endeavours.

“I couldn’t think of a better way to pay tribute to a man who truly loved the fun side of radio, than to partner with a hugely successful Canadian band who are heavily involved in charitable endeavors of their own.” enthused event coordinator, Cathy Zaharchuk.

The night promises to be one of excitement and, to top it all off, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to a local charity dedicated to providing comfort for patients and families impacted by life-altering illnesses.

“What better way to commemorate such a philanthropic soul such as Richard Costly-White than to put on an outstanding concert with Simple Plan at an intimate venue with proceeds going to an amazing local charity such as T2B,” expressed Jeff Burrows – drummer of local band The Tea Party and long-time foundation supporter.
