NBC says ‘Downton Abbey’ movie could start filming next year

Downton fans, REJOICE! NBC is saying that the production of a Downton Abbey film could begin in 2018! The President of NBCUniversal International Studios, Michael Edelstein, said “It’s been in the works for some time” while Julian Fellowes, writer and creator of Downton Abbey, said “I think we’ve got a film in us. I hope it happens.”
