This isn’t the first time O Canada has triggered controversy at all-star baseball games.
Last year at the All Star Game in San Diego – Remigio Pereira of The Tenors changed the lyrics to O Canada. He sang “We’re all brothers and sisters, all lives matter to the great,” instead of, “With glowing hearts we see thee rise, the True North strong and free.”
