Doors Open at Windsor Museums

SEPTEMBER 24 and SEPTEMBER 25 – Museum Windsor will be participating in Doors Open 2016 and offering free admission to the François Baby House, Chimczuk Museum, and Duff-Baby Mansion throughout the weekend.

François Baby House – 254 Pitt Street West – Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm – don’t miss the new “The Vault Uncovered” exhibition, featuring highlights from the Museum Windsor collection of artifacts, including a wide-ranging firearms collection. Many of these intriguing historical pieces have not been on display in years.

Chimczuk Museum – 401 Riverside Drive West – Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 11am-5pm – in honour of the celebration of its first Doors Open, the Chimczuk Museum will be giving away free Spirit of Windsor collector’s plates and prints. First come, first served!

Duff-Baby Mansion – 221 Mill Street – Saturday and Sunday 10am-4pm – tour the first two floors of one of the oldest buildings in the Windsor area.
