Wheatley Summer Concert Series

JUNE 7 TO SEPTEMBER 6 – Each Sunday at 6:30 pm, enjoy a free outdoor concert at the only outdoor amphitheatre in the area – the Weil Stage at Wheatley Two Creeks Conservation Area, 21638 Kent Rd. 1, 1 km. north of Wheatley.

Here is the 2015 concert lineup:

June 7 – Music from UMEI – a celebration of the Mennonite tradition of song.

June 14 – Trent Severn – three women of Celtic song.

June 21 – Andrew Taves & Friends – this big country voice is a local treasure.

June 28 – B.J. Laub Trio – wonderful country musicianship.

July 5 – Lonesome Lefty and the Cryin Shames – a favourite of Two Creeks’ audiences. A huge ranging talent.

July 12 – Stay Tuned – this bluegrass band gets better and better.

July 19 – Bill Bynum Band – this country band from Michigan will get your toes tapping.

July 26 – Winterline – this bluegrass band keeps winning awards.

August 2 – Jen Knight Trio – if you haven’t heard her before, don’t miss it. The best of pop.

August 9 – Kool Kats – classic rock with a Hammond organ.

August 16 – British Beat 66 – Back by popular demand, this band makes us feel the British Invastion as though it happened yesterday.

August 23 – Dale Butler and Friends – the patriarch of Two Creeks music. He will hate this description. You will love his music.

August 30 – Crystal Gage – Southern Ontario’s country diva.

September 6 – The Oh Chays – Mike and Kelly Authier will rock you.

Although admission is free, the hat will be passed for donations to offset the cost of the performers and maintenance costs.

Bring your lawn chairs and blankets.
