New Demi Lovato Docuseries Looks Intense!
Last week, we got a look at the upcoming YouTube docuseries about Demi Lovato called “Dancing With The Devil” in a trailer (you can watch below).
The series debuted at the SXSW Film Festival yesterday with the first 2 episodes available to the public on March 23rd.
Clearly, many personal and dark things are revealed in the series. WARNING, this stuff is pretty horrifying. TW: rape…
This morning’s headings center around 2 things:
She reveals that during the infamous overdose in 2018, she was raped by her dealer, after he shot her up with heroin laced with fentanyl. She says, quote, “When they found me, I was naked, blue…I was literally discarded and abandoned.”
She then ties it to a similar experience she in the 2000s. She shared that when she lost her virginity, she was raped.
She goes on to say that the person who did this was also “part of the Disney scene” and faced no repercussions. She added that she continued to have to see this person.
Along with her heartbreaking stories, we did get a glimmer of light in the news that her next album will be coming soon!
“Dancing With The Devil…The Art of Starting Over” will be 19 tracks with 3 bonus songs coming April 2nd.
