Hit List – Nov 28 + 29
This week we’re thankful (right??) for countdown with Jawsh 685 + Jason Derulo at #1. They did what Detroit Lions opponents do every Thanksgiving by feasting on the competition with no regard for human life.
We also marked the anniversary of the passing of Freddy Mercury with a fantastic Queen throwback. Technically, Queen earned the rared ‘double throwback’ honours by also being featured on Thursday morning’s Throwback Track. What can I say, we’re suckers for Queen.
And most importantly, we were honoured to introduce you to a hidden gem, although I suspect he won’t be hidden for long. Ayola is a local recording artist (and double PhD, from the UK and the U of W!) who’s sound is so unique and so great we just want to get it out there.
