Let’s PARTY Like It’s 2010!

Kaltxì, Windsor! That means ‘Hi’ in Navi. My name is Jay, and if you love the new movie Avatar as much as I do, we’ll definitely get along. Kä!
I guess you could say I’m just a regular non-controversial guy. Some of my favourite things include The Cosby Show, plastic straws, and the band Hedley. (Boring, I know. I guess I just like normal, timeless things that will never ever stop being acceptable.)
Not to complain but 2010 is truly the worst. It started with an earthquake in Haiti that killed hundreds of thousands of people. In April there was that awful Deepwater Horizon disaster. And right now those Chilean guys are STILL stuck in that mine! I can’t imagine the world being affected by anything bigger than this, can you? And then to top it all off, last night I was at at this downtown bar called The Loop, I think, where someone stole my backpack with my only copy of Mockingjay and my new iPod Touch inside. The world is going to be so much better in ten years, mark my words.
Now I know we’re still reeling from the finale of LOST but let’s try to move on. How about those Vancouver Games that just happened, am I right? And now that football season is here it’s so cool to have a legitimate NFL contender right across the river. They just drafted this new quarterback… Matthew something? Trust me. He’s gonna have multiple rings. I just hope I can afford Super Bowl tickets in few years, I’m sure the economy will be terrific soon.
Speaking of America, we are now almost 2 years into the Obama administration and you know what? Hats off to America! So progressive. You know, I was worried about them but they elected a scientific minded, intelligent, humble and generous man as their 44th president. I just can’t wait to see who they’ll elect next. Maybe an actual astronaut or scientist? One thing I do know is this: America… you are right on track! There’s literally almost nothing stupid you could to to mess this up.
I can only hope that if I’m here 10 years from now I’ll be able to say the following:
It’s been a great. For me at least. Thanks for tolerating me.
Anyway, in 2030 we’ll do this again so if someone could please save this Top 20 list that would be great. I don’t want to have to make it again.
