Former Bachelorette Clare Crawley & Dale Moss Have SPLIT!
If you had money on Clare & Dale splitting…congrats! You’re getting a payout!
Of course we never applaud breakups, but this one we kind of saw coming…right?
Clare Crawley was the first Bachelorette of Season 16, staying for a record-breaking two weeks (4 episodes) before departing.
However, she departed with a happy ending.
Clare struggled to connect with any other contestant except 32-year-old Pro-Footballer Dale Moss, saying “I feel like I just met my husband” as soon as he got out of the limo in episode 1.
Many tears and a few angry contestants later, Dale proposed in episode 4. They left the show hand in hand and made room for the new Bachelorette Tayshia Adams to begin.
Rumors quickly started surfacing, reporting that Clare & Dale were not as happy as they appear to be on their social media.
Dale debunked the rumors yesterday, confirming via IG story that he and Clare have split. He said:
I wanted share with you all that Clare and I have decided to go our separate ways. We appreciate the love and support we’ve received from so many people, but this is the healthiest decision for both of us at this time. We strongly believe in leading with love and always remaining true to oneself – something our families have taught and instilled in us throughout our lives.
Welp…I guess that’s that.
From the get-go, fans of the show said that the degree of certainty Clare had in Dale was way too soon.
Two weeks & four episodes is not enough time know you’re ready to marry someone, right? They hadn’t even gotten to do the Hometown Date!
We wish them both the best, but we of course are already making speculations…
- Will Clare return as a Bachelorette again?
- Will she be eligible as a contestant in a future season of The Bachelor?
- Should the franchise expand and create a show of all the former Bachelor/Bachelorette couples, just so we can get to the bottom of all of this? (We’re pushing for this one)
