Happy National Underwear Day! Here Are Some Undies Facts
It’s National Underwear Day! A recent survey looked into how often we change ours and spoiler alert: Not everyone changes them every day.
*Thankfully, this is an AMERICAN survey so anytime you say “ew” just blame it on ‘mercia, not us. Here are the results.
-68% of Americans say they usually wear a pair once and then wash them.
-13% said twice . . .
-6% said three to five times . . .
-3% said SIX times or more without washing . . .
-another 10% weren’t sure, or said they’d rather not answer.
-The average American woman owns approximately 21 pairs of underwear.
-Approximately 10% of women own over 35 pairs.
-9% of men in America have underwear that is at least 10 years old.
-Fifteen percent own underwear that is between 5-9 years old.
I’m all for clinging to holy underwear, but 10 years?? That may be pushing it.
PRO TIP: Buy new undies every time there’s an Olympics.
